Sophie L. Riemenschneider graduated in 2013 from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature. After graduation, she remained in Chicago as Teach For America corps member. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in English Literature at the City University of New York. Her interests include literature of 9/11, comics as literature, and general questions of trauma and memory.
